Most people know
Alexander as
a famous Scottish bodywork manufacturer. However, do you know that
Alexander was also a company providing bus services once upon a time?
In the following, a few Alexander's buses at that time are introduced.
As the mother company is also a bodywork manufacturer, so not surprisingly
the bodyworks of many of their buses are Alexander's products.
![]() The bus in the above is a Leyland Tiger TS1 owned by Alexander. Its fleet number is P63 and it was built in 1929. ![]() An AEC Regal MKI with fleet number A52. It was built in 1946 and had served the Aberdeen area. ![]() Here is a Leyland Royal Tiger, built in 1952 and with a fleet number of PC1. It had also run in northern Scotland. ![]() Oh, is there a couple going to be married? This bus with a ribbon is a Guy Arab MKIII and its fleet number is RO607.
