Various Buses (Part 2)
Scottish Ominibuses' AEC Reliance with Alexander bodywork and a fleet number of B671. It was built in 1959 and ran as a coach serving between Edinburgh and London. 
An electric company demonstrates how to use electricity as fuel for vehicles. This is a Wales & Edwards mini electric bus owned by the Hydro Electric Board. It was built in 1980. 
The bus on the left hand side is an open-topped Bristol Lodekka with ECW bodywork and was owned by Eastern Scottish. Its fleet number in the past was AA971 and was built in 1967. The bus on the right hand side is a Western SMT's Leyland PD3 with Alexander bodywork. It was built in 1961 and its fleet number was D1684 at that time. <<< Previous Page -- Various (1) |
