This section is about a 1961 Guy Wulfrunian MKI, which was owned by
County Motors in Lepton in the past. So, what is so unusual with it?
Well let's have a look!
![]() The front of the Guy Wulfrunian MKI. The complete front view cannot be shown in the photo because buses in the shed are parked so closely to each other. However, the logo of Guy can be seen clearly. ![]() The side of the front of the Guy Wulfrunian MKI. It is fit with Roe bodywork. ![]() The driver's cab of the Guy Wulfrunian MKI. This is a front engine bus so the engine is located right next to the driver. ![]() The special point is right here! When you board the bus, you can see such a situation. For most buses, the staircase is located behind the driver. However for this bus, the staircase is located opposite to the driver. The reason is that the engine is located at the driver's side, so the staircase is designed to be on the other side in order to balance the overall weight of the bus. In addition, the staircase faces directly next to the entrance. Such a design is really rare! ![]() The complete view of the upper deck of Guy Wulfrunian MKI Next Page -- HK CMB >>><<< Previous Page -- Stagecoach |
